Our “So One (wish)” is reunification.
Even in our dreams, we “So One (wish)” for reunification
This song, beloved and widely sung by both North and South Koreans, is composed by Mr. Ahn, Byung Won, who passed away in Toronto, in 2015. “So One” is Korean for a sincere, wholehearted wish. We “So One” that reunification happens in this generation, so “ONE” Korea can prosper in peace and harmony over all the Korean peninsula.
Reunification will be achieved when all of us “So One”. Keeping attentive of the other side, and solving difficulties slowly but surely with active discussions, will bring us closer to reunification. We cannot delay reunification. The time to talk is now, as our reunification will be the backbone of peace and prosperity of Northeast Asia and our global world.
