Aug. 29, 8:00pm-10:30pm. “The Island and the Maple Leaf” by TAIWANfest Orchestra will bring Toronto musicians together with Canada’s own and world-renowned Maestro Ken Hsieh for a full-length concert featuring music from Beethoven’s Finale of Symphony No. 5, Canadian composer Michael Conway Baker’s Chanson Joyeuse and Mountains from Through the Lions Gate.
