CCC Music Festival Goes International in 2021

The Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto (CCC) Music Festival is proud to open its virtual doors to the international community in 2021. Over the past twelve years, the CCC Music Festival has welcomed thousands of young musicians onto its stage. As musicians worldwide find their place in virtual space, the CCC Music Festival strives to support young musicians in forging new connections and building communities online.

Dr. Adrian Cheung, president of the festival, states, “Rebranding the festival as the ‘CCC Toronto International Music Festival (CCCTIMF)’ highlights our priorities for recognizing the achievements and resilience of young musicians worldwide. Music is an international language, and our festival bridges the world through music.”

The CCC Toronto International Music Festival online registration opens on June 4, 2021. Piano and violin musicians can upload their performances throughout the summer. The 100+ festival classes are organized by the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) and the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) systems. The 2021 CCCTIMF organizing committee has added several “special classes” to offer greater flexibility for participants. The team of international judges will invite winners to perform on our world-class stage at the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto (Canada) in late 2021 in accordance with public health guidelines.
