After the successful two-day event of the Mabuhay Philippines Festival 2022; we would like to invite you to join us on our next event, the PIDC’s SONGWRITING Competition, our second year of holding this competition. Celebrate the power of music and foster life, love, success and your very own story through your musical composition.
The PIDC family looks forward to another great journey of our Canadian musical talents that will be judged by International Celebrities on its Final Night of the competition on October 1, 2022 at Xinflix Auditorium, 421 Bentley St Unit #9, Markham, ON L3R 9T2.
Last year’s judges were Vehnee Saturno, Lani Misalucha, JayR, Gino Padilla etc.

Toronto Korean Festival
Tamilfest – 27th & 28th
The Tamil street festival is back this year. All are welcome. If you like spicy food do come and enjoy variety of food at many food booths.
There is no entrance fee. 27th and 28th, Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon to 11 pm.
Multicultural hour on Sunday, 28th between 6pm to 7pm which also includes drumming by Kiyoshi Nagata school (thank you Jiro for the connection). This will be in the center of the strip on red carpet.
Asialicious Carnival
Federation of Asian Canadians Toronto (FACT) is pleased to announce the 4th Annual Asialicious Carnival on September 9th, 10th and 11th at Woodside Square. Established by a group of Asian Canadians with different ethnic backgrounds in 2019, FACT is committed to promote cultural exchange among the people in the Greater Toronto. Despite the hallenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic in the past two and a half years, our directors, committee members and volunteers have shown dedication and hard work in organizing Asialicious Carnival, AsialiciousTO and many more.
In addition to the Opening of the 4th Asialicious Carnival, we are also launching the 3rd AsialiciousTO to celebrate Asian heritage, a 2 week long restaurant program (September 10 to September 25) to showcase Asian-themed promotional menu priced at $10, $20 and $30 at participating restaurants within the City of Toronto. We hope to help boost restaurant businesses (dine in, take out and delivery) and revitalize the local economy while bringing the community together.
